So what makes this one a lil different from a plain heart is that a small paw print sits tucked inside the lower left of the heart, right where the two curves come together. The heart itself is just an open satin outline with no fill, and the paw print inside mirrors that same open style, bunch of small toe ovals and a round pad, all in red. Single colour throughout.

Its a valentines day design but pet owners buy this one year round, not just in February. I sell alot of these as mug embroideries and tumbler wraps for dog mums and cat mums who want something a bit warmer than a plain heart logo. The 1.18-inch version at 1086 stitches is tiny enough for those small hoop gifts, and the 3.51-inch at 4398 stitches works well on a tote or tee front.

Built it in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio so the satin density stays consistent across all 4 sizes and the underlay stops the stitches from puckering on a cotton or linen ground. Back it with a lightweight cutaway stabiliser, especially at the smaller 3 sizes where you dont want bulk. Add a stabiliser layer under your fabric even for thin cotton because the satin outline pulls if theres nothing holding the ground cloth firm. Ping me if something looks off after you stitch the first test run and Im happy to sort it.

Stitch it on valentines pouches, pet lover mugs, or dog bandana patches. Pair the 3.5-inch version with a name in a split font below the heart and you get a proper personalised gift look. Use the 1.18-inch on felt or twill for a keyring charm gift that looks like you spent way more than ya did.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Pet mum coffee mug embroidery wrapA customer ordered the 1.18-inch version last christmas for tumbler wraps for her whole dog mum friend group.
  • Personalised keyring charm on feltCut felt into a 3-inch circle, stitch the small size, add a jump ring and it becomes a bag charm.
  • Small hoop gift card pocket or envelopeThe 1.18-inch size fits the front face of an A6 envelope pocket stitched in matching thread.
  • Cat lover tote bag front panelGoes on natural canvas at the 2.5-inch size with medium cutaway backing for a clean flat finish.
  • Nursery cushion with date of adoption belowStitch the date in small block letters just under the heart on a 16x16 linen cushion cover.
  • Pet collar tag patch in twill fabricUse the 1.5-inch size on twill ribbon, stiffen with a light cutaway, and fold it into a collar tag shape.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
