Simple concept, heart outline with a paw print inside it. Thats basically the whole design and it doesnt need to be anything more. Both shapes are outline-only, stitched in running stitch, no fill anywhere. The combination reads immediately to any pet owner, which is why this kind of design gets a lot of use for personalised gifts and memorial items alike.
Single colour so there are no stops. Four sizes from 1.18 by 1.51 inch up to 3.51 by 4.51 inch, and stitch counts are low across all of them. Smallest is only 1305 stitches which takes a couple of minutes at most. Even the 4901-stitch largest size runs fast. The 310 density is light enough that you dont need heavy stabiliser. Use a light tearaway on woven cotton or a water-soluble topping on velvet and plush fabrics to stop the outline from sinking into the pile.
Stitch it multiple times across a canvas tote in a loose repeating grid for a scattered paw-and-heart pattern. Add a name in plain text just below the design for a personalised pet memorial piece. Pick the 1.18-inch size for hats and small patch placements where the hoop has to be tight. Smaller sizes at this density run clean with a 75/11 sharp needle and standard 40-weight thread without any adjustments needed. Skip heavy cutaway on lightweight linen, it makes the fabric stiff and the running stitch doesnt need that much backing anyway.
A customer last valentines day did a full set of matching totes in red thread on canvas, one for each person in the household including the pets name stitched underneath. Came out well, they sent a photo and everything.
Snug hooping on any fabric type keeps the fine outline from shifting mid-run.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
