Worked up this heart rainbow after getting some requests for a rainbow thats a bit more special than the flat satin stripe versions. Each arch layer uses tiny hearts and dots alternating in a repeating pattern instead of solid colour bands. The outermost ring runs red, then purple inside that, then aqua, then dark green at the centre. Four colours, 3 colour changes, and the whole thing reads as a rainbow from any distance. Im happy with how it landed.

Four sizes in the pack, smallest is around 1.12 inches wide and only 2,707 stitches, which is genuinely tiny enough for hat embroidery or collar work. The large version sits at 3.35 inches across and runs 8,575 stitches, that works well for the centre of a onesie or a small piece on a toddler tee. Each shape runs as its own satin block individually so youll need to manage the density, use a tearaway stabiliser on cotton wovens and cutaway on any jersey or knit fabric. Heres the trick.

I made this for the nursery and baby market, valentines day pieces, and rainbow-themed kids rooms. A customer last february used the medium size on a set of white baby onesies for a rainbow baby shower gift and they came out absolutely gorgeous. Hoop it on white or cream cotton and all 4 colours pop really well. Thats the easy win here.

Stitch it centred on a onesie or toddler tee, use on a baby bib corner, put the small size on a hair clip felt piece. Pair with a name underneath for a personalised nursery gift. Avoid dark backgrounds, those tiny shapes need contrast to read clearly. Youll see right away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
