The heart here isnt the soft fluffy kind. Its a bold, clean heart shape with a spider web stretched across the whole thing, radiating out from the centre like somebody spun it overnight. Single colour, so the whole design reads as one graphic hit. At the 6.97-inch size it fills a hoop nicely and the satin web lines stay crisp without any gaps.
Wilcom handled the density at 401, which I was alot happier with than my first test run on black felt. That test run on dark stabiliser made the web nearly disappear. Stick to a pale or white fabric if you want the web structure to read properly, or use a bright orange or grey thread on a dark hoodie with topping film. A customer last october ordered multiples on black tote bags using white thread and said it was the most popular item at her market stall.
Use cutaway stabiliser for stretchy fabrics and float the hoop rather than hooping direct if youre working on a finished garment. The 3.25-inch version is small enough for a pocket corner or collar point. Stitch count runs from 9,403 at the smallest up to 20,939 at the largest so factor that into your bobbin planning. Skip cheap temporary adhesive spray on knits as it pulls the directional satin lines out of alignment.
Holler at me through the shop chat if the file doesnt unzip cleanly and Ill get you a fresh one within a few hours.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Halloween shirts and hoodies for adults and kidsDark hoodie in white or burnt orange thread is the most requested colourway by far, the web radiates out beautifully against dark fabric.
- Spooky tote bags for trick-or-treat or market stallsGym duffel bag front panel at the medium sizes reads gothic without being costume-level, good for year-round use past halloween.
- Gothic throw pillow covers in black and orangeAutumn throw blanket corner in a single charcoal thread repeating down the edge gives the whole piece a seasonal look.
- Patch-style accent on denim jacketsTrick-or-treat bucket made from a cotton drawstring bag with this centred at 5 inches looks handmade and intentional.
- Halloween table runners and kitchen towelsKitchen runner along the table during october in black thread on an oatmeal linen works surprisingly well for home decor.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
