The heart here isnt a solid shape or a simple outline. Its built entirely from swirling loops that wrap and curl back on each other, and somewhere in the middle of all that movement the word 'love' sits nestled in the swirl. The whole thing is connected, one flowing design, not separate elements stuck together.
Single colour, all satin column work, no fill areas which means the stitch count is lighter than the heart shape would suggest. Smallest size is about 7,000 stitches and largest goes to about 20,000 stitches at 7.5 inches tall. Stitch it in navy thread on white linen and you get that nautical-meets-romantic feel, or pick a coral or blush for straight valentines vibes.
I get asked whether this works on dark fabric and yes it does, send me message if you want suggestions, white or cream thread on black or navy looks really striking. One buyer used it in gold metallic thread on navy velvet for a valentines table centrepiece, she said it turned out beautiful and I believe it.
5 sizes from 3.5 inches to 7.5 inches. The swirl work looks best on smooth or medium weave fabrics. Use a tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton or linen, cutaway on any stretch base. The satin columns in the swirls arent very wide so avoid pile fabrics where the detail gets swallowed.
Pick a medium presser foot pressure and check your tension on a test sample before running the full piece. The continuous path stitching on this design means if your machine isnt set right you'll get uneven satin texture across the swirls. Email me with your machine brand if you get odd results and I'll help you troubleshoot.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
