The outer shape is a big bold heart outline in black, and inside it branches spread up and out, each one tipped with a solid red satin heart. There are alot of those little hearts scattered across the piece, maybe 30 or so at the largest size, and they vary slightly in how they sit so it doesnt look mechanical. The cursive love script underneath has nice long loopy strokes, almost like handwriting rather than a font.

Stitching is simple. Black goes first as the underlay and outline work, then red fills in all the heart shapes in one pass. Just 1 colour change across the whole design, so your bobbin thread barely moves. At the smallest size, 2.91 inches wide, the density sits at 306 which keeps it from puckering on lighter fabrics. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser on knits or anything that stretches. Skip tearaway on stretch fabrics since the low density doesnt give enough anchor points to hold it flat.

I digitised this with directional satin fills on each heart so the sheen catches light properly, not just flat column stitches. Five sizes run from 2.91x3.49 inches up to 6.24x7.49 inches, stitch count scales from 5,384 to 14,315. Stitch the 3-inch size on a standard 4x4 hoop for pocket or onesie placements. I get pings about this one from customers doing Valentine craft fairs, a customer last week told me she stitched it on a dozen tote bags for a school fair and sold out. Holler at me through the shop chat if something goes wrong with your download and Ill sort it out right away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine's Day tote bags and gift bagsValentine gift bag for a classroom swap at the 3-inch size, the tree shape reads instantly without explanation
  • Throw pillow covers for February decorMy sister wanted this for her February market table and the 6-inch on cotton canvas sold out before noon
  • Sweatshirts and hoodies for couplesDenim tote back pocket: bold black outline holds perfectly without topping on structured fabric
  • Quilted wall hangings with a heart themeQuilted wall hanging where the heart outline becomes the focal block framed in natural linen borders
  • Baby onesies and toddler shirtsSweatshirt chest for couples who dont want matching outfits but want something that pairs visually
  • Tea towels and kitchen linensFlour-sack dish cloth works clean at smaller hoops because the stitch density stays manageable on open weave
  • Denim jacket back patchesBaby onesie at the smallest 2.91-inch size, the branches read even that small because the outline is thick enough to hold

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
