Mocked this up after seeing how popular the toilet joke designs had become around the holidays. Its a stacked text layout, all four rows fill a square block. The first Ho comes in red chunky satin fill letters, the second Ho in green, the third Ho in black, and at the bottom 'I gotta go' is stitched in this warm golden tan script font with a more casual handwritten feel. Scattered between the rows are little red stars and line-drawn snowflake details. The colour rotation on the Ho rows keeps it from being flat, it actually reads well from a distance on a shirt.

Four colours total with 3 thread changes between the main text rows, then the snowflakes and stars at the end. Density is 441 which is lighter than my heavier designs so it sews pretty quickly. At 7.5 inches the stitch count reaches 24,858 and thats the one I'd put on a adult Christmas jumper or a large tote bag. The 3.5 inch version at 9,849 stitches fits nicely on a stocking or a small gift pouch. Back it with a cutaway for the larger sizes especially on stretch jersey or any knit fabric, the satin columns need stability or theyll shift.

My shop gets a rush on this one every December, people love having it on matching Christmas outfits. Ive seen it stitched on adult tees, kids jumpers, aprons and bags all at once for a matching family Christmas set. Use it on white, cream, light grey or red fabric and the colour stack really shows up. Avoid dark green because the second Ho literally disappears into the background. Slow your machine through the script section at the bottom to keep the 'I gotta go' lettering smooth.

Pop a tearaway under cotton for smaller sizes. Use a firm cutaway on jersey fabrics or anything with stretch.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
