Its a dogs paw, wrapped in christmas lights. The paw itself is the bold black satin-filled kind, ya know, the classic dog-paw silhouette with the three upper toe pads and a wide central palm pad sitting underneath. A looping strand of dark green wire winds all the way around and through the gaps between the pads, and hanging off that wire are the individual bulbs in red, yellow and dark blue. Proper retro bulb shapes, oval and a lil chunky, like the old string lights your nan still uses every year.
Six sizes from 1.29 inches up to 6.51 inches wide, lotta flexibility there. The stitch count runs from about 3,200 on the smallest up to nearly 25k on the big one, so this is honestly a denser design than it looks. Five colours, 4 thread swaps needed per hoop. Wilcom digitised the light bulbs as tight satin columns so they hold their oval shape clean even at small sizes.
My customers who run pet grooming salons go mad for this one around november. One groomer in ohio last christmas had it stitched on navy bandanas for dogs getting seasonal grooms. She sent me photos of 3 golden retrievers wearing em and honestly it was the cutest thing Ive seen all year. Alot of dog-themed merch makers use it for tote bags and hoodies aswell.
Best on dark fabric so the green wire reads clearly. Try navy cotton, charcoal fleece or black canvas. Use a cutaway stabiliser under any stretch or thick pile fabric so the pad shapes dont distort. The small 1.29-inch works perfectly on a collar tag or a sock cuff and the big 6.51-inch carries a jacket back panel with no trouble at all.
Ping me if the file acts up or the colour sequence looks wrong in your software and ill check it over.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
