The left side of the design is a half sunflower, and every petal is built from the American flag. Blue petals with white stars cut across one side, and red satin-filled petals with diagonal stripe texture fill the other. The flower center is a solid black disc where both sides meet. Its cropped at the midpoint so the right half is entirely text, which is a compositional choice that really works at scale.
The text reads "home of the" in flowing script across the top, then FREE in massive red block capitals dead center, then "Because of the" in script again underneath, and BRAVE in blue block caps at the base. The size contrast between the script phrases and the block caps is what gives this design its presence. Even on the 3-inch version the hierarchy reads clean and you can follow the quote in one quick glance.
Three colours total, blue then red then black, and each thread stop is carrying a significant portion of the design so dont cut corners on tension or thread quality here. Back it with a stable woven stabiliser to handle the dense flag-petal satin sections, they go edge to edge with no relief areas. Stitch count runs from 12,500 at 3 inches up to nearly 39,000 at 7.5 inches so factor in a full afternoon for the large size.
Works on white, cream or natural linen best, the three flag colours read most clearly against a neutral ground. My friend who does custom military family gifts has been using this one every july for tote bags and shirt fronts, and it goes fast once people spot it. The 4-inch size fits a standard left-chest spot on a polo or jacket without crowding the neckline.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
