Honey bee in side profile flying over a small cluster of seven or eight hexagonal honeycomb cells. The bee has wings raised and legs tucked, body angled like its just landed. Underneath, the comb hexagons sit clustered, a couple darker than the others as if theyre filled with honey while the rest are empty. Properly naturalistic, not cartoony.
Five threads here, two amber yellows light and dark for the comb depth, black for the body outline and stripes, soft white for the wings and light highlights, and a gold accent that traces wing veins. The bee fur is done with directional stitching so it actually looks fuzzy instead of a flat brown patch, and wings stay see through with fine satin outline.
Honestly this is one of the bigger sellers in my insect section. Last april a customer who runs a candle business bought it for her packaging tags and she still messages me for reorders when she runs a new wax batch. Text me if you want it cropped to a left chest size, ive done that crop for a few apiary tee orders already.
Stitches run heavy, 11,587 at the smallest 3.32x3.5 inches and 28,536 at the largest 7.12x7.5 inches. Density sits around 534 per square inch which is moderate to high. Older home machines should slow down a touch, ive seen needle deflection on cheap polyester thread at top speed.
Best on cream cotton, sand canvas, oatmeal linen, or natural muslin. Avoid bright yellow fabric, the amber comb will blend right in. Use a cutaway stabiliser since the bee body density needs the structural backing. Hoop tight, avoid stretching the fabric or the wing outlines warp. Rayon 40wt for the ambers gives that honey sheen, polyester for the black holds wash cycles best. Text a quick message if the download fails and Ill fix it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
