'Hot' runs in tall red script across the top with a little travel-cup drawing beside it. The cup is aqua with a black lid, drawn with just enough detail to read as cocoa without being cartoony. Then 'Cocoa &' sits in aqua block letters across the middle, 'Christmas' flows below in dark green cursive, and 'Lights' closes at the bottom in chunky red with actual bulb shapes replacing a couple of the letters. Snowflake accents fill in the negative space between lines. Its a lot going on in a small footprint, but its packed well.

Set up in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. The 4-colour run goes aqua first for the mug and cocoa lettering, then dark green for the Christmas script, red for the 'Hot' word and lights block, and black last for the lid detail on the cup. 3 colour changes total across 4 stops, which is manageable on most home machines. Density is 467, the file runs 8,602 stitches at 2.9 inches wide up to 16,341 stitches at 4.51 inches. Youre getting alot of design for the stitch count because the typography sections are satin-outlined rather than fully filled.

One customer ran the 4.5-inch hoop last winter on a kraft-coloured cotton-linen pillow cover and it sat realy well against the warm neutral background. Said she was suprised how much the aqua thread popped against the tan fabric. Thats a colour pairing I wouldnt have thought of first but it works, the warm base tone makes the aqua cooler in contrast.

Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser. The bulb shapes at the base have some underlay running beneath the satin that needs a firm foundation, tearaway wont hold it. Avoid backing with anything that has heavy pile or texture because the fine snowflake details between lines will lose definition. Best on flat wovens, denim, or canvas. Run at standard speed, theres nothing in this file that needs you to slow down.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
