Built this one around the circular composition first and I think thats what makes it work. The hummingbird sits inside a wreath, hovering mid-flight with its beak pointed left and wings spread open. The wreath itself is a loose circular vine with 3 open blooms and smaller buds scattered along the stems. Its all open line work with no solid fill areas, so the whole thing has that lightweight botanical illustration feel rather than heavy satin fill all over.

5 sizes in the file. Stitch range is around 2,024 at the smallest up to 22,596 at the largest, all digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. Because its mostly satin outline work with open centres in the flowers, the density stays manageable even at the bigger sizes. Use a tearaway stabiliser for stable woven fabrics like cotton or linen. If youre stitching on something with stretch, go for a light cutaway instead. Single colour, no thread changes needed, the machine just runs it all the way through.

A customer wrote me last March about stitching the 5-inch run on linen napkins for her mum and the order grew to a full set. My mum asked me for it last spring on cream linen for her living room and the satin outline detail really shows up nicely at that scale. Stitch it on sage green or cream fabric and it looks like something off a nature print. Avoid very dark fabrics if youre using a light thread colour because the open areas in the flowers wont read the same way.

Email me if the file isnt loading or you need a size outside what I included and Ill see what I can do.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
