A hummingbird mid-flight in 2 colours: black line art throughout and 2 small red satin stitches at the flower centre as the only colour change. Wings full spread, beak angled in toward a large open floral bloom on the left side, 5 sizes from 2.95 inches wide up to 6.32 inches wide. A thin vine circle frames everything and small leaves and buds fill the negative space. Its a clean botanical feel, not over-decorated.

Stitch count from 15,805 to 32,808. I tightened the underlay in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with directional stitching on the hummingbirds wings so the feather structure actually shows. Density sits at 691, solid medium-high, and the red flower centre is a small cluster so the colour change is quick, dont need to rethread, just swap briefly.

Set cutaway stabiliser under anything stretchy like jersey. For woven linen or canvas youre fine with tearaway. Add topping on terry or waffle fabrics so the fine line satin doesnt sink into the pile. Avoid busy printed fabric, the line art detail gets lost against patterns.

People have been buying this a lot for garden-themed tote bags and apron bibs this past spring. Customers love it on white linen especially, the red centre pops against natural fabric really nicely. One customer ordered multiple sizes for a whole set of cream cotton kitchen linens, tea towels and napkins, which is honestly a brilliant idea.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
