This one is kinda just exactly what it sounds like and Im here for it. Circular badge layout, the kind you see on old varsity patches, but the centre has a skeleton hand with the finger up, surrounded by little sparkle diamonds and lightning bolt symbols. The text arcs around the edge: I came I saw I had at the top, then the word Anxiety in big stylised gothic script across the middle, then so I left at the bottom curve. Single black thread, reads instantly.

Tiny version sits around 10k count, full sweep climbs to 19k at the 7 inch, so its a really manageable stitch count for what it is visually. The gothic lettering for Anxiety uses a heavier satin fill than the arc text which is a thinner running stitch outline, so theres nice contrast in the text weights even in one colour. Im always customising this type of mixed-weight lettering carefully in Wilcom because if the thinner text gets too light it goes scratchy at smaller sizes. Stick with a soft cutaway behind the hoop for anything stretchy, tearaway on stable woven cotton is fine.

I get messages from this one constantly, its been my most messaged-about quote design in the last few months. A customer last week bought it 3 times, once for a black tote, once for a cap panel, once for a hoodie chest. Stitch it on anything dark, black fleece, charcoal cotton twill, or heavy canvas. Skip anything too loose or open-weave because the skeleton hand detail will sink and go fuzzy. Pop it on as an iron-on patch at 4 inches if you want the quickest application method.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Mental health awareness and dark humour apparelApparel sellers making sarcastic mental health ranges put this on black crewnecks, it sells well in the neurodivergent community.
  • Anxiety solidarity gift for a friendPeople buy this as a specific gift for their anxious friends, sometimes paired with a candle or a small comfort kit.
  • Social anxiety themed introvert hoodieIntrovert-themed hoodies at the 5 inch on the chest, the badge shape reads like a real merit patch which is part of the joke.
  • Halloween or gothic casual streetwearHalloween casual looks use this on canvas totes or denim shirts, the skeleton element ties in without being costume-y.
  • Therapist humour gift tote or patchTherapists with a sense of humour have ordered these for their own aprons or work bags, honestly the best use of all.
  • College student laptop bag iron-on patchIron-on patch at the 4 inch size onto a laptop bag, easiest application method and survives years of daily use with firm backing.
  • Birthday gift for someone who cancelled plansBirthday card gift: stitch it onto a small cotton pouch with a handwritten note, the recipient gets it immediately.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
