Red and black, two colours, and its one of those text designs that just lands immediately. The top half, 'I love', is a big chunky brush script in red with tiny hearts scattered into the letters. One heart sits right where the dot on the 'i' should be, a couple more are tucked into the curves of the 'o' and 'v'. Then 'my' drops into a thinner flowing italic, and 'DOGS' at the bottom is heavy rounded block lettering in black. The paw print sits inside a red heart outline right in the middle, connecting both halves of the message.

A customer wrote me last month saying she'd had this put on matching hoodies for her and her daughter and they wore them to every dog show that season. Thats the kind of thing I love hearing. It works because the design is loud enough to read across a room but not so busy it clashes with everything. White tees, pale grey hoodies, beige canvas totes, all hold it well. Skip really dark fabrics because the red lettering disappears and you lose the whole point of the design.

Five sizes digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio, running from 6,085 stitches at 2.84 inches up to 18,932 at 6.61 inches. Stitch it on a cutaway stabiliser if youre putting it on jersey or any knit. The satin sections in the script lettering will pucker on stretchy fabric without decent support underneath. Tear-away is fine on woven cotton or canvas. Hoop snug and let the underlay do its job first before the fill columns go down, especially in those dense block 'DOGS' letters or you'll get gapping.
