Built this around the messy bun girl silhouette thats been popular on patriotic items for a few years now. The hair is up in a wild bun held with a red-and-white-striped bandana. The sunglasses are oversized aviator frames with American flag stars-and-stripes lenses. Black hair falls loose at the sides of the face. Its all four thread colours: black for the hair outlines and the main silhouette, then red, blue, and white for the flag details in the accessories. Below the portrait, three text lines complete the piece: 'Im Still a' in thin script, 'Trump Girl' in a bigger brushstroke red script, and 'I Make No Apologies' in tight blue block caps at the bottom.
This is a complex design: 4 colours, stitch counts from 25,492 on the smallest 5.51 x 3.49 inch size up to 36,555 on the full 7.51 x 4.76 inch version. Density at 1,023 per square inch is genuinely high. Back this with a firm cutaway stabiliser on every fabric, no exceptions. Use a fresh 75/11 embroidery needle and run the whole design at 600 spm max. The hair detail relies on very fine directional fill columns so dont rush it. Pop a topping film over any textured or pile fabric to stop the fine fills sinking in.
A customer wrote me asking for Fourth of July tee shirts, patriotic event caps, and sweatshirts. My customer last week stitched the largest size on a white cotton tee chest and said the four-colour portrait looks almost like a screen print at finished size. Hoop your stabiliser first, lay the fabric on top, and square everything before sending to avoid registration drift on a long run like this.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Fourth of July tee shirts and tank topsThe 7.51 x 4.76 inch largest size centres perfectly across the chest of a standard cotton tee shirt.
- Patriotic sweatshirts and crewnecksOn a white or light grey crewneck sweatshirt the four-colour portrait has enough space for the hair detail to read.
- Large canvas tote bags for summer eventsLarge canvas tote bags work well with the wide landscape orientation of this design, centre it below the handles.
- Cap fronts and structured hat panelsThe smallest 5.51 inch wide version fits a structured cap front but use a cap hoop for clean stabiliser placement.
- Denim jacket chest panelsOn a denim jacket chest panel the portrait sits just below the collar seam with a natural framing margin.
- Rally shirts and event merchandiseRally event shirts in a single colour base let the four-colour portrait stand out as the hero element.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
