Right, so this one was really a customer request that turned into one of the best-selling halloween listings Ive ever had. One customer wrote me last october and said she wanted something cheeky to put on a halloween tote for her daughter and this phrase was it. The ghost has personality, shes not just floating there, shes got style, and the 'Boo in Boujee' text is done in that big chunky font that reads from across the room.
Its 17,786 stitches with eleven colour stops, density at 299. Thats on the heavier side so dont skip the cutaway stabiliser, a medium or heavy weight one, not tearaway, or the satin lettering will pucker at the edges. The underlay in this file is set in Wilcom with a full underlay pass before each satin section, youre welcome. Stitch the ghost body sections first. Use a slow speed on the narrow satin strokes in the text, those letter outlines are fine detail and they benefit from slower bobbin speed. Dont try to rush through the colour stops, the sequencing is intentional and each change sets up the next satin fill cleanly.
At 2.63 inches wide it fits left chest or sleeve placement easily, but a 4x4 hoop minimum because the tall portrait proportion needs the height. Pop it on a black sweatshirt and the bright colours hit completely different than on light fabric, genuinely worth trying both ways before you commit to a project batch. Text me if you need the file in a different orientation or want the ghost and text layers separated, I can usually do that on request.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
