Sketched this out wanting the kind of snowflake that rewards a closer look. The main arms are solid aqua satin but growing off each arm are these smaller petal-fill branches that change direction from the central body. At 1.82 inches its still clearly a snowflake. At 4.55 inches those branch fills start to look realy detailed, kinda just like a macro photograph of an actual ice crystal would.

4 sizes across that range, stitch counts from 6,394 up to 15,708. Density is 690 which is on the higher end for a single-colour design. Stick to a heavy cutaway stabiliser, especially if youre gonna run the big size on knit or fleece. Tear-away is gonna give you grief at that density. Use a stabiliser topping on velvet or waffle-weave or the petal fills lose definition. Best to run a test square before committing to a full hoop on plush fabrics.

One customer ordered the 3-inch size for a set of matching holiday cushion covers last December. She was digitising her own designs aswell and said this one was her favourite from the whole set because the branch detail actually shows up on plush fabric. That kind of thing tells me the density is doing its job.

Reach out if you need a different size range or run into any trouble with the file after downloading.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
