The iris bloom sits at the top with three wide ruffled falls in soft lavender, deep violet veining running right through them. Upright petals match that same light purple, and dead center theres a warm salmon-orange beard detail that catches the eye. Sword-like leaves extend below in two-tone green, brighter lime on the outer edges, deep forest green filling the middle. The whole thing has a botanical-illustration quality, like a page from an old garden encyclopedia.

Six thread colors total. Five sizes run from 3.5 to 7.5 inches tall, so theres room to scale up depending on your project. Stitch counts go from around 7,200 up to just over 17,000 at full size. Dont skip the stabiliser on this one, the petal veining is directional satin work and it needs support to sit flat. Five color changes across the design.

Hoop it up on a firm cutaway for best results. The beard detail in that peach-salmon tone is honestly the bit people notice first when they see it stitched out. Pop it on a tote bag or tea towel and the tall vertical shape fills the space really naturally. Stitch this at 5 or 6 inches if you want the full effect, the vein detail on the falls reads much better at that size. I hear from customers about this one each season, and since I first listed it last spring the interest hasnt dropped off. Not hard to see why. If anything goes wrong with your download just holler and I'll sort it out.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Spring tote bags and cotton market bagsThe tall vertical shape fills a tote bag face well, especially on wider bags where theres room to let it breathe
  • Framed hoop art for a bedroom or sitting room wallFramed in a natural wood hoop it reads like botanical wall art, people often pair it with other floral designs in a gallery arrangement
  • Patch projects for denim jackets or canvas pouchesWorks on denim and canvas without needing a heavy stabiliser, the fill density keeps it sitting flat
  • Linen tea towels and kitchen linens with a garden themePopular for linen tea towels where the neutral ground lets the purple and green tones show properly
  • Pillowcases and cushion covers for a botanical decor lookThe tall orientation suits pillowcase placement nicely, either centred or off to one side near the opening

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
