Ya know this lil guy just works on pretty much anything. Eight colours and 20,699 stitches at 2.94 inches wide, I digitised it in Wilcom to get the carved openings reading as actual negative space rather than just dark fill, which took a bit of back and forth on the underlay passes. The density sits at 312 which isnt too heavy, and its manageable for most mid-weight fabrics without the needle drag you get with denser designs.

One customer wrote me last october, she'd run this on a whole batch of trick-or-treat bags for her daughters class, nine sizes worth in a single afternoon. She said it came out perfect on the cotton canvas because the satin columns on each pumpkin rib catch the light differently and give it that rounded three-dimensional look. She suprised me managing nine in one session, she said once she got the machine hooped and tension dialled in it ran clean the whole afternoon. Pair it with a medium cutaway stabiliser on wovens or a lil layer of water-soluble topping on fleece so the rib detail doesnt sink into the pile.

Use cutaway on denim or canvas, tearaway works fine on smooth cotton quilting fabric. Pick matching orange thread in the bobbin for cleaner reverse sides, because with 3 colour stops on the pumpkin body the underside can look busy otherwise. Drop a message if you hit any issues and ill get the file sorted for you right away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
