Pulled together this boney goose row for the farm wife customer who runs a small backyard goose flock. She wanted somethin halloween that fit her tea towel and apron aesthetic without goin full horror movie. Four geese stand in a row across the design, each posed slightly different, one preens, one stretches her wings out wide, one tucks her head down low, one stands tall watchin you back.

Each goose body is filled solid black with the rib cage and leg bones showin through in white x-ray style. Underneath the row of geese a chunky hand lettered title reads just a boney goose in uneven font with that playful skeleton energy. Two thread colours total, deep black and bone white. Cant get simpler than that, honestly I think theres real charm in keepin it stripped back.

Long and narrow horizontal orientation, widths range from 4.5 to 8.5 inches and heights stay small around 1.9 to 3.6 inches tall. Best fits along a flour sack towel hem, an apron waist band, a pillow case bottom edge, or the bottom border of a quilt panel. Five sizes total, stitch counts run from 11k to 24k, real speedy through the machine, the largest size finishes in about fifteen minutes.

Stitches clean on cotton, linen, waffle weave, twill, and canvas. Cream, oatmeal, sage green, and pale wheat grounds all carry the black and white palette best. People have been buyin this one in pairs because the long horizontal shape suits matching kitchen sets, a tea towel plus an apron stitched at different sizes.

Use a medium tearaway on woven cotton or waffle weave. Hoop carefully, the design wants horizontal alignment along the towel edge so measure twice before placin the hoop. One customer told me shes gifted these as halloween hostess gifts and the recipients kept askin where she got em. Honestly its the kind of design that earns repeat orders every october.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
