The words stack across 4 or 5 lines with varying sizes and styles. Smaller words like Just and Who are in a modest print style, the main words Girl and Christmas get the big script treatment with long swooping letters that extend above and below their line. Loves might sit in a slightly different weight to break up the rhythm. The whole composition fits into a rough square shape which makes it versatile for placement.
Three colours only, deep red for the main script words, forest green for the accent words, cream or white for any fill areas or outlines. Its clean and classic christmas without anything fussy. No ornaments, no images, just the lettering doing the work. That simplicity is what makes it so wearable, it doesnt compete with anything else on the garment.
Low density at 499 means this one runs fast and light. Stitch counts from just under 12,000 at the smallest to just under 28,000 at 7.47 inches. Its genuinely one of the quicker holiday designs to run through and you dont need heavy stabilisation on most fabrics. Cotton knit is fine, doesnt need cutaway, tearaway works on most weights.
Women who love christmas are a very real demographic and they buy early. I sold more of this design in october last year than any other christmas design, because people start their christmas gifting projects long before december. The phrase resonates, its a bit of an in-joke for anyone who decorates early and takes christmas seriously.
Stitch this on a red or dark green sweatshirt and the cream script pops beautifully. On a grey or white sweatshirt the red and green work together as a classic colour combination. Avoid brown or tan fabrics, the cream elements disappear. Five hoop sizes spanning 3.5 inch through 7.5 inch square, so theres a size for a pocket detail or a full chest statement piece.
