I made this one because I kept getting requests for a dog design that felt personal rather than just cute. Thats where the floral portrait idea came in. There's a dog face surrounded by flowers, drawn in that warm illustrative style that looks hand-done, and below it the quote Just a Girl Who Loves Dogs in a casual hand-lettered script. The two elements sit together really naturally, the florals soften what could have been a plain text piece and the dog face anchors it. Its warm without being over the top.

11 sizes in total, starting at 5.37 in and going up to 10.25 in, stitch counts run from 19,446 to 42,539. Given the detail in the dog portrait and the floral fill, this one has a fair bit of density, so I'd strongly recommend cutaway stabiliser on any stretch base, tearaway on firm wovens. Hoop your fabric firm, theres enough coverage here that any looseness will show as registration shift in the florals. Colors are warm tones, creams, soft pinks, with the dog likely in a natural brown or tan range.

This is basically made for tote bags centered on the front panel, but it works equally well as a back placement on a hoodie or sweatshirt. A customer of mine had it stitched onto a canvas tote for a dog rescue volunteer gift and it looked genuinely lovely, she matched the floral thread to the recipient's real dog breed colouring which was a really nice touch. Works on denim too if you want that worn-in market bag feel.

Drop me a chat note if the file format isnt loading right for your machine and Ill sort it out fast.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Canvas tote front panelCentered on a canvas tote, the portrait plus quote fills the front panel with warmth, great for a market bag or a pet rescue fundraiser prize.
  • Hoodie back placementBack hoodie placement works really well for dog moms who want a statement piece thats personal but not loud.
  • Denim jacket back designOn a denim jacket back it reads almost like a custom band tee design, especially with warm tan and pink thread choices.
  • Dog lover gift projectA dog lover gift that feels genuinely personal, more so than a generic paw print design ever could.
  • Sweatshirt chest panelChest panel on a sweatshirt positioned center-front where the quote is readable from a conversational distance.
  • Fabric gift bag frontFabric gift bags for dog-themed birthday or adoption parties, the florals add a handmade artisan feel.
  • Quilted pillow cover centerQuilted pillow cover with the design centered, great for a dog-themed bedroom or a reading nook chair.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
