Heres the kids painting design, two cartoon kids stood at a wooden easel covered in pink blue and yellow paint swirls. Girl on the left in a red tee with a tall brown ponytail and a tiny red bow, brush dipped low. Boy on the right in a green tee, spiky brown hair, holding a tube of paint and pointing at the canvas. Paint splatters all over the floor in four colours. Stitch range goes 12k up to 34k across 9 sizes.

Twenty five thread colours total which sounds wild but the colour changes cluster well so it dont feel a nightmare to stitch. Both kids wear denim jeans, the easel and stool sit in warm brown wood, and the paint pot near the girls feet has brushes poking out the top. Density sits at 811, this is medium-heavy, gonna take around 30 minutes on the 5x7 hoop on a domestic machine.

Pop a cutaway stabiliser behind anything stretchy because all those small fills want a steady base. Stitch on a midweight cotton tee, canvas tote or a kids backpack flap and the satin reads crisp. Skip terry cloth or fleece pile since the smaller paint splatter dots will sink into the texture and look fuzzy. White, cream, sky blue or pale yellow blanks let the bright canvas paint really sing through.

I get loads of messages around back-to-school in august from art teachers wanting class merch. One primary school art teacher in oregon ordered the 6 inch on 22 small canvas pouches for her end-of-year student gifts last june, sent me photos of the kids opening em on the last day. Theres a steady custom order trickle for art camps and birthday party favours all summer too.

Run the 7.5 inch on the front of a craft apron for a kid art class. Pop the 4 inch on a small drawstring brush bag. Embroider the 5 inch on a notebook cover for a young artists sketchbook. Such a happy busy design. Dm me if you wanna know which colours can be substituted for what you have on the shelf, ill send a swap chart.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
