Heres the King lettering and its got that proper royal swagger. The word King flows across in a thick gold script, big swooping K, looped i, ng curve at the end. A small five-point crown sits tilted on top of the i like a tiara, and three red rubies dot the crown band along with a ruby on each tall point. Reads like a throwback monogram that any king-of-the-house would put on a polo.
Two colours only, gold and ruby red. I digitised the gold body of the script as a satin column with directional stitching down each curve, so the thread catches the light and reads metallic instead of flat. The crown gets a darker gold satin border with the ruby cabochons sitting on top of the band. Stitch counts climb from 6k on the smallest size up to roughly 14.5k on the 5.49-inch wide hoop.
I get messages alot about this one going onto fathers day shirts and birthday robes. People keep customising it on the back of grooms-suite tees aswell. Last june a customer ordered the 5-inch version for a his-and-hers king-and-queen pillow set and the gold thread sat real nice against navy linen.
Stitch on a dark solid for the strongest contrast. Black, navy, burgundy or deep forest green make the gold sing. White polos work too if you want subtle. Skip light pastels here, the gold disappears against pale cream and lemon yellow because the satin sheen needs a dark backdrop to bounce off.
Use 40wt rayon or polyester gold thread, metallic if you can run it slow without breakage. Hoop with a medium cutaway, the crown points have small jump stitches that need solid backing or theyll pull. Run the machine at 70 percent speed when its hooped, gold metallics dont love high RPMs and youll cut down on thread snaps. Reach me on instagram comments if the colour swap reads off centre.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
