Cooked up this one around the idea of lips that ARE the heart, not just lips near a heart. The upper lip curves form the two humps at the top and the bottom lip tapers down to the point. From even a few feet away it reads as a heart shape but up close you see the gloss highlight and the satin texture, its a proper double take design.

Four colours in here including deep red for the main fill, a lighter coral for the highlight section, dark outline and a tiny white gloss dot at the top. The density on this one is 896 which is on the high end, its what gives the lips that proper raised dimensional look rather than a flat print. Stitch count hits 47,055 on the full 7.5 inch size, and I always recommend a cutaway stabiliser even on woven fabric.

Customers are always suprised by how heavy this stitches up on lighter cotton, it creates a really nice tactile quality. One customer send me photos last valentines of it on a pink sweatshirt and it looked exactly like a lipstick heart stamp, which is exactly what I was going for when I digitised it. Five sizes from 3.5 up to 7.5 inches.

Skip light chiffon or silk for the full size, the density is too much. Stick with cotton, fleece, denim and canvas. Use cutaway on anything with stretch. Pair with a plain background, busy fabric loses all the satin detail.

Email me if the file loads but the colour sequence looks off on your machine, sometimes a quick colour reassign is all it takes and Ill walk you through it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentines day sweatshirt chest printOn a plain pink or red sweatshirt this stitches up like a proper lipstick heart stamp and makes a bold valentines day statement piece.
  • Bachelorette party tshirtsPerfect for bachelorette party shirts where you want something flirty and graphic without going full novelty print.
  • Tote bag flirty statementOn a canvas tote in deep red against cream fabric it reads instantly from across the room as both lips and heart.
  • Denim jacket back detailThe full 7.5 inch size on a denim jacket back panel has real impact, the high density satin fill looks almost like embossed leather.
  • Valentine gift bag front panelStitched on the front of a kraft paper or canvas gift bag it makes a valentines gift presentation feel special without any wrapping paper needed.
  • Galentines party shirtsFor galentines party shirts it works across a group because the lips heart reads playful and fun rather than couple-specific.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
