Retro 70s signpainter look. Brush script Kitchen at the top in black with two tiny hearts hanging off the K, then a small orange The with curly flourishes either side, a huge bold orange serif Heart filling the middle line, a small Of The banner with curly bracket frames in orange, and a swooping black script Home at the bottom with a flying heart on the H and a long descender tail running off to the right. Five sizes, 4.01 to 8.01 inches wide, max height 5.92.
This one's got three stops in the colour sequence even though theres only two colours. Black, then orange, then black again. The reason's that the big serif word sits between two script words, so the digitiser wanted to avoid long jump stitches between the top Kitchen brush script and the bottom Home cursive. So youll see three colour stops but only need black and pumpkin orange threads on the machine. Stitch count's 9,243 at the 4-inch up to 20,359 at the 8-inch. Density's 429 which is on the heavier side.
Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. The Heart serif uses perpendicular underlay direction which is what stops the wide vertical strokes from puckering on cotton. Tiny heart accents on the K of Kitchen and the H of Home are about 4mm tall on the smallest size, so theyre right at the edge of what a domestic machine handles cleanly. If your machine struggles on tiny satin, run the 5-inch or up. The bracket flourishes around the small banner are skinny black satin columns that'll need a sharp needle.
Last month a customer wrote me about running the 7-inch on a cream linen cushion cover as a housewarming gift for her best friends new flat in Manchester. She said the pumpkin word matched the kitchen tile splashback exactly which she hadnt planned for but loved. So colour-matching to existing decor is a real consideration here. Best on cream linen, white cotton, natural canvas, butter yellow, sage green, or any neutral fabric where both colours read fully. Skip orange or red fabric obviously, the middle word vanishes. Avoid stretchy interlock without a firm cutaway. Pair the 5-inch on a tea towel and the 7-inch on a cushion cover for a matched gift set. Dm me if the small hearts get lost on your hoop and ill bump the satin density up for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
