One customer ordered it for her daughters cat-themed bedroom and ended up putting it on basically everything in the room. I get that. The paw-up pose is the kind of thing that looks like its specifically designed to go on soft things, pillows, blankets, small pouches. Theres 9 colours in the design which sounds like alot but most of the thread changes are in the fur layers, so the actual stitching time per section is short. Sizes run from 3.33 inches up to 7.13 inches wide.
The blue eyes are the focal point and theyre the reason people dont want to simplify the eye section. The digitising uses 2 layered shades for the iris, a mid-blue fill under a deeper navy ring, so youve got actual depth in the eye instead of a flat disc. Ive had a few people ask if they can remove a colour to save swaps, and technically yes, but youd lose the thing that makes it look like a real kitten not a cartoon. Stitch the full 9 colors and youll see why its worth it. Skip one shade and the eye looks flat, thats just how layered digitising works.
Pop a cutaway stabiliser under it regardless of fabric. The stitch density is high at 1368, particularly in the face area, and tearaway wont hold it cleanly on anything with any give. Linen and flannel are my favourite base fabrics for the design, the texture works with the fluffy fur rather than against it. Add a light underlay pass first if youre on flannel so the fur strokes dont sink.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
