Ok so this is the kitten and butterfly scene I been wanting to digitise for ages. Its kinda just the cutest little moment, a fluffy grey and white kitten up on its hind legs reaching one paw at a bright blue butterfly hovering near its whiskers. Pink paw pads, pink inner ears, those huge blue cartoon eyes, the lil mouth open like its mid mew. There is even a soft mint oval under the paws acting as a ground shadow.
The butterfly is the bright spot, blue and black wings with thin black antennae and a tiny black body. Sitting right at nose level so the eye line of the kitten goes straight at it. Real cute moment.
My niece got a tiny grey kitten last christmas and I drew this one with her in mind. People order it now for grandkids who just got a kitten, or for a vet clinic worker friend, that sort of thing. Stitches up clean even at the smaller 3.5 in size, you can still make out the paw pads and eye shine.
Now this is a heavier stitch design because of all the directional shading on the kitten fur, around 14865 stitches at 3.5 in growing to 40822 at the full 7.5. Reach for a heavy duty cutaway, no question about it. The grey fur shading jumps across alot of tiny shading patches and the underneath layer keeps it from puckering on softer fabrics.
I would recognise this design on a plain colour shirt, navy or cream or soft pink work great. Skip dark patterned fabric, the kitten fades into busy backgrounds. Slot in a 70/10 embroidery needle and 40 weight rayon for the cleanest fur lines.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
