Heres the Dog Mama design and its loud in the best way. Block letters spelling out DOG with a giant paw print sitting where the O should be, then the word Mama running underneath in a glossy chocolate-brown script. Four lil paw prints float around the edges to fill out the layout.
The DG letters carry the leopard print fill, tan rosettes with black centres broken up by white gaps so it reads like real cat fur and not a flat camo blob. A pumpkin-orange satin column wraps round each letter for a clean applique edge. The big paw print O matches the same leopard fill so it ties together as one word at a glance.
Six colours total. Tan, ink black, chocolate brown, pumpkin orange and two warm cream shades. Stitch counts run from 23k on the 2.65-inch version up to a chunky 56k on the full 5.69-inch size, so plan thread changes carefully. I get repeat orders every christmas from a small-town groomer who slaps this on every staff hoodie.
Pop this on a black tee or a heather grey hoodie and the leopard fill reads loud. Bunch of customers have been buying it for dog-mum birthday gifts, puppy adoption keepsakes and matching pet merch with their canine companions initials on the back. White and oatmeal totes work too if youre after softer contrast. Skip thin polyester here, the dense satin columns at 56k will pucker without proper backing because they wont sit flat.
Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser on knits and no-show mesh on lighter wovens. Run the underlay slow so the leopard rosettes line up with the satin border. Bobbin needs a light grey or cream so it dosent show through any gaps. Stick a 75/11 needle on cotton, swap to a 90/14 for fleece. Knock me on the support email if any panel reads undersized.
