The lettering in this one does most of the work. 'lets' and 'party' are in this wide swooping purple script, and 'flockin' drops into heavy black in between them. That jump between colours and weights mid-phrase gives the text alot of energy. Then the flamingo standing alongside it is actually quite detailed, real feather-texture stitching across the body rather than a flat fill.
3 thread colours, 3 stops in the run. Stitch count tops out at 20,928 at the 5.3-inch wide size, starting from 9,699 at 2.7 inches. The feather fill sections on the flamingo are the densest part at 653 stitches per cm, so keep your machine at a steady pace through those and make sure your stabiliser is hooped firmly. Dont rush the feather sections or youll get needle deflection on the dense satin.
Use a medium cutaway on knit fabrics and a tearaway on wovens. Add a topper on anything textured like pique or ribbed fabric, otherwise the script stitch lines settle into the weave and lose sharpness. Pick from 4 sizes between 2.7 and 5.3 inches.
I get orders for this one every bachelorette season. Last summer a customer had me help her plan a set of 10 matching totes for a Nashville trip. We worked out the sizes and placement together over a few messages and they came out great. Drop me a note if you want help planning a group order.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Stitched on matching tote bags for a flamingo-themed bachelorette partyCanvas tote bags for a group order stitch consistently; use the same size and placement guide for all.
- Embroidered on a pool float bag or beach bag for a summer party groupBeach bags in nylon or canvas work well with the 4-inch size and a standard tearaway stabiliser.
- Added to a zip-up hoodie for a birthday girl who loves flamingosOn a zip-up hoodie, center the design on the back or chest; use cutaway stabiliser on the fleece fabric.
- Placed on a party apron for a tropical-theme summer barbecue hostCanvas aprons don't need a topper; the 4 to 5 inch size sits well on the bib.
- Used on a drawstring bag or favour pouch for a party gift bagDrawstring favour bags in cotton or nylon take the 2.7-inch size neatly on the front panel.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
