The phrase is set in wide bold block letters across a horizontal layout with a string of coloured Christmas lights looped below the text. The bulbs come in four colours, red, green, yellow and blue, filled in satin with a thin black wire underlay connecting them all. Five colour stops at a density of 267 which keeps the piece airy and fast to stitch. Smallest size is 3.51 by 2.49 inches at 4,857 stitches, largest is 7.51 by 5.34 inches at 10,714 stitches. Five sizes mean you can fit it on anything from an apron pocket to a full front panel.

Ive sold alot of these to people making gifts for coworkers, those office parties where the vibe is more wine-oclock than family-friendly. The text outline uses a running stitch underlay before the main satin fill so letters stay crisp on lower thread tension settings. Use light cutaway under on woven or linen. Add cutaway on fleece or sweatshirt fabric so the dense letter fill doesnt stretch out of shape when you unhoop. One customer stitched this on a set of matching aprons for her department and said it was the most talked about gift at her work christmas party last year.

Its a horizontal design so it works best on items with a wide flat surface. Pop it on a tote front, an apron bib, a cotton bandana, or a sweatshirt chest panel. The coloured light bulbs are what separates this from being just a quote design. Keep them in their original four colours rather than swapping to a single tone or the christmas context disappears entirely. Avoid dark fabric bases unless you plan to use light thread colours for the block letters.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
