Its a christmas quote design but its not saccharine. Let's Get Lit in a chunky casual script with a string of small coloured bulbs running along a wire above the text. Four colours: the lettering in one bold colour, wire in a neutral, then two bulb colours. Density 319 means the lettering reads cleanly without feeling stiff or overworked on a mid-weight fleece or cotton sweatshirt. Six sizes range from 1.52 inches at the narrowest up to 4.56 inches wide, which fits nicely centered on a chest pocket or as a full chest placement.
Digitised in Wilcom with the letter strokes as satin columns and the bulbs as small fill shapes. One customer ordered a batch of 12 of these last christmas on black sweatshirts and said the bulb colours popped better than she expected. The wire line running over the lettering needed a bit of care during hooping since its only a few mm thick at the smaller sizes, but the satin stitches held straight on firm cotton. Low stitch count at 3,302 for the smallest size means it stitches in under 10 minutes.
Use tear-away stabiliser on cotton sweatshirt fleece and cutaway on any stretch or thin jersey. Avoid hooping over existing prints or seams or the wire detail shifts. Pick a high contrast lettering colour on dark fabrics, white or cream on black looks sharp. Add some directional underlay under the letter satin columns to stop the cotton weave texture showing through. Pair it with a matching bulb design elsewhere on the garment if youre building a full christmas set.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Christmas sweatshirts and crewnecks for adultsAdult christmas party sweatshirt in dark green with cream lettering and mixed bulb colours, the kind people comment on all evening.
- Holiday party outfits and festive matching setsMatching family set in the same colourway is a fast batch once the machine is threaded, customers doing 8 to 10 pieces find the 4-colour stops become routine.
- Christmas market vendor aprons and tote bagsCotton canvas market tote as a vendor bag at holiday craft fairs, the wide text layout fills the bag face without needing anything else on it.
- Gift tags and muslin favour bags with a festive quoteMuslin favour bag tied with ribbon at the 1.52-inch size makes a quick gift tag substitute that cost less than a printed card.
- Ugly Christmas sweater party ironic wearFlannel shirt pocket placement with just the smallest version, reads quietly ironic and works for the office holiday party without being full costume.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
