Its a funny one and people realy do wear it. The phrase is set in chunky block lettering with a strand of christmas lights looped around the words, bulbs hanging off the top and sides. Three colours run through it: the text body, the string accents, and the individual bulb fills. At 512 stitches per square inch the density is solid enough that the lettering holds its edge on both woven and light knit fabrics without going mushy at the corners.

Smallest size is 1.18 by 1.5 inch and the largest goes to 4.33 by 5.5 inch, so theres a pocket size and a full chest size in the same file. The stitch count at the biggest size hits 12190 which is fast to run, usually under 20 minutes. Pair knit-friendly cutaway stable woven cotton and a cutaway on anything stretchy. The light bulb shapes are small satin ovals so a sharp needle helps keep them clean, I usually recommend a 75/11 for the smaller sizes.

The colour sequencing runs text fill first, then the string path, then the bulb colours last. If you want all the bulbs to match, just swap them to one thread at that stop. Customers sometimes do that when they want a more minimal two-colour version, which is totally fine.

I had a customer last christmas stitch this on a dark navy sweatshirt in white lettering with red bulbs and it looked genuinely great. Run it on a pocket placement for a subtle look or scale up to the 4.33-inch version and centre it on the shirt front. Either way its gonna get comments at the christmas party, thats basically guaranteed.

Reach me if you need a different size or run into an issue with the download and Ill sort it. Send me a chat if the file misbehaves and Ill rework the punch.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
