Two words, Let Them, in flowing cursive script. The lettering has that modern handwriting quality where the letters flow into each other with long connector strokes and the tails on the Ls and T are extended and confident. Two colours, so you can run the Let in one thread and the Them in a second, or do both the same if you want a cleaner single-colour look. Either way it reads as a deliberate piece of word art rather than a stock quote design.
Density is 269 and stitch count runs from 2,725 at the 1.43-inch width up to 8,151 at the 3.78-inch. Six sizes, all quite narrow and tall because script lettering runs that way. The satin columns on the connecting strokes are narrow, which means they need a stable topping on any textured ground fabric so the columns dont sink into the weave. A medium-weight cutaway works well underneath on jersey. Tear-away on woven cotton is fine. Dont skip the stabiliser on stretchy ground just because the design looks light.
This phrase became popular a couple of years ago and customer orders have kept coming ever since. Ive sold this to people who stitch it on tote bags, people who want it on a friend group shirt, and one customer last year who stitched a dozen of them on canvas pouches as a going-away gift for someone moving cities. She said the group wanted something that summed up their friend's attitude. Thats the nice thing about two-word quotes, they travel well.
Stitch on natural cotton or linen in white or cream thread for a clean modern look. Black on white is the most common combination but dusty rose or sage green thread on cream linen also reads nicely. Avoid very busy patterned fabrics because the script can get lost in pattern. Use a water-soluble topping on any structured cotton or denim that has surface texture, it keeps the letter edges crisp as the needle passes through.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Motivational tote bag for a friend who sets boundariesNatural linen tote at the 3-inch, the cursive reads confident from across a room and the person carrying it knows why.
- Personalised canvas pouch group giftCanvas zip pouch group gift for a going-away party, my sister asked for twelve of these once for a friend moving cities.
- Quote hoodie or sweatshirt chest placementHoodie centre chest at chest size in sage green thread on cream fleece, the quote wears quietly well past the first week.
- Small cap front panel or visor embroideryStructured cap front panel at the 1.5-inch, the narrow script proportion is genuinely designed for that panel width.
- Fabric art hoop as a wall pieceOxford shirt cuff accent at the smallest size, a tone-on-tone thread choice reads as a very deliberate detail.
- Pouches or pencil cases for a going-away gift setFraming hoop on natural cotton at the largest size, five-inch hoop hung above a desk as the only wall piece needed.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
