Got this one drawn up after alot of requests for a dog design that wasnt just a paw print or a silhouette. Its a big open daisy, petals pointing out in every direction, and the whole thing is covered in little dog paw prints scattered around like a pup just walked across the flower. The centre of the daisy has that dotted seed-head look. And then along the bottom, in a loose cursive arc, it says "life is better with dogs" which honestly I think most people who stitch this already believe.
Single black thread, 1 colour. Done. No colour changes to manage, no bobbin swaps mid-hoop. The density runs to 536 stitches per cm2 on this one so the petals come out with good satin coverage and the script doesnt go flat on ya. Stitch range is 14,725 at the smallest size up to 25,908 on the largest, and Ive found the 5 inch or 7 inch versions work best on tote bags where you want the whole flower visible. Use a good cutaway stabiliser underneath, the petal sections have some directional stitching that needs support or the edges can lift.
And stitch it on something that lets the black pop. Natural canvas, white linen, cream cotton, pale grey fleece. Dark fabrics work too if you use a topping on the script section so the lettering doesnt sink into the weave. One customer last week sent me a photo of this stitched in white thread on a black canvas tote and it looked incredible. Just dont skip the topping on the text area.
4 sizes available, all digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. Best on a standard 5x7 or 4x4 hoop depending on which size you pick. Hit me up if the download gives you any trouble.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Dog-themed tote bags for pet ownersThe daisy size works well centred on a canvas tote, big enough to read from across a room.
- Custom aprons for dog groomers or pet cafesA grooming apron with this on the chest pocket is a great conversation starter with clients.
- Baby onesies for families with dogsThe 4-inch version fits nicely on a onesie chest without overwhelming the fabric.
- Tee shirts with a pet lover quotePlain white or grey tees let the black thread contrast do all the work.
- Throw pillow covers for a dog room or kennelThe 7-inch version is almost square so it centres evenly on a standard pillow front.
- Bandanas stitched for dog-themed marketsBandanas stitched with this sell really well at dog-friendly markets and pet expos.
- Denim jackets with a floral dog patchPatch-style on denim gives a vintage botanical feel that pairs with the paw print scatter.
- Gift bags or pouches for dog mum giftsSmall pouches or gift bags with this on the front are a go-to for dog mum birthday presents.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
