A little ladybug whose body is a red heart instead of a round circle. It sits on the fabric with 4 colours, the heart body in bright red with black spots on it, a round black head, tiny legs poking out the sides and a little smile drawn in white. Kids absolutely love this one, its the kind of design where they point at it and ask what is that bug, then laugh when they see the heart shape.
Comes in 5 sizes, smallest is 3.5 inches wide and the largest hits 7.5 inches, stitch counts running from 12,017 up to 36,706 on the full size. That red body uses a dense satin fill so the red comes out solid and smooth, it doesnt look patchy even when you're stitching on softer cotton knits. Use cutaway on stretch fabrics, the bug legs and spots are small details that need a firm base.
I designed this for valentines day kids items but it honestly works for any time of year on children's gear. A customer last valentines ordered it for a class set of little canvas bags, she did 20 bags and said the kids went wild, every one of em wanted a different colour combination. She swapped the bug-body thread to pink on some and coral on others, comma splice aside its an easy single-hoop project.
Try it on cotton t-shirts, onesies, bibs and soft baby pouches. Skip minky or velvet for the smaller sizes because the spots and leg details get buried in pile. Use a mesh topping on waffle knit or terry so the face stays clean.
Pick your size, hoop tight, stitch and you're done. Email me if there's a file issue and Ill fix it fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
