Worked up this one for the summer crowd. Theres a radiating fireworks burst taking up most of the centre, with 'little' written in looping dark blue cursive script right in the middle of it. Below that, 'FIRECRACKER' sits in big chunky red block letters that take up the whole lower half. Stars scattered everywhere, a lil flag-striped fuse dangling at the bottom. Very 4th of July, cant help it.

3 colours and nine sizes in the original file, but I settled on four across the download: Red, Dark Blue and White. 2 colour changes total, and I kept them clean so theres no floating between the patriotic sections. Sizes run from 3.44 inches wide at the small end up to 6.02 inches, 10,219 stitches to 18,716. The density sits around 444 stitches per sq inch, so the satin lettering stays solid without being stiff.

A customer grabbed the 5-inch size to stitch on a onesie for her daughter's first 4th of July. She said the satin on the block lettering came out super crisp and the density held fine on a stabilised cotton knit. Use a tearaway stabiliser on wovens and a cutaway on anything stretchy, the small star satin shapes will pull without enough support underneath. Skip very dark navy fabrics or the Dark Blue thread sections disappear into the background.

Stitch it on a white kids tee, pop it on a tote, run it on a hat brim. Ping me if you have any issues with the file and Ill sort it out.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby's first 4th of July onesie or romperThe 4-inch size fits neatly on a onesie chest panel without crowding the neckline, and the bold red lettering reads clearly even at that scale.
  • Kids summer t-shirt for Independence DayA bright red and navy colourway on a white kids tee is the classic combo and this design was basically made for it.
  • Patriotic tote bag for a cookout or block partyStitch the 6-in build across a kraft canvas tote for a big bold patriotic statement that holds up through washing.
  • Baseball cap patch for a summer paradeThe compact 3.44-inch width fits most structured cap fronts without needing to resize, just hoop with a firm stabiliser.
  • Beach towel or pool bag with Americana themeA dark navy beach towel with the red and white version stitched on makes a fun poolside 4th of July piece.
  • Gift bag embroidery for a July 4th party favourSmall 4-inch version on a white cotton gift bag with red ribbon ties is quick to make and looks intentional.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
