The telephone booth takes up most of the frame and its the classic boxy shape with that rounded top and the crown panel you see on every postcard from london. Eight colour changes go into this thing. The booth panels are done in dense directional satin so theres a subtle sheen to it on smooth fabric, the kind that picks up light differently when you move the piece. Window frames sit in a darker cream and the sign band across the top reads clean white.
Left side has the wrought-iron street lamp and a stretch of Victorian fence running behind the booth, both stitched in that deep teal green. Its actually more olive when hooped on natural linen, which looks brilliant. The fence posts have these little spear tops that come out sharp even at the 3.5-inch size, maybe 20k stitches on the smallest, closer to 54k on the largest. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio digitising so the density on the red panels doesnt bunch up on the bobbin side.
Nine sizes from 3.5 in up to 7.5 in, 8 colour changes, 76 to 78 trims depending on size. Best on white or cream cotton or canvas where the red really pops. A customer last autumn put the medium 5-inch onto a navy flat-cap and the red against the navy looked genuinely like a souvenir piece, but actually well made.
Run it on medium-weight cutaway stabiliser for any stretchy base. Tearaway holds up on woven cotton or denim. Hoop snug, the fence lines need good tension to stay crisp. And use quality red thread, cheaper polyester goes a bit orange under warm lighting which is not what you want with this one. Holler if theres a problem and Im on it same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
