Right in the centre of this one is a big shiny red apple, the kind you'd see on every teacher desk in every classroom. The ABC letters wrap around it in pink bubble-style satin with heavy black outlines, and the word LOVE sits above in bold hand-drawn lettering that looks like someone wrote it with a thick marker. Two pencils cross behind the whole thing, one pink with little heart details stitched right onto the barrel. Theres also 3 small pink hearts tucked in around the apple, one below, one to the right, one floating up top near the B. Its a proper cluster design, alot going on but it holds together really well.
I worked this up in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio across 5 sizes, the largest runs about 37,864 stitches at 6.26 inches wide. That high stitch count comes from 10 colour changes working through the apple, the letters, the pencils and the hearts, each section done with directional fill so everything sits the way it should. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser for this one, especially on thinner cotton jersey. The density is set at 805 and on a white or cream cotton shirt the colours just pop. And yes, you'll get a bobbin workout but its totally worth it.
One customer ordered this for a whole set of teacher appreciation tote bags last spring and came back asking for a matching bookmark design. Heres the thing, the design stitches up clean on canvas totes because the satin on the bubble letters holds its shape even at the edges. Skip stretchy knits for the larger hoop sizes, stick with stable woven or medium weight cotton twill.
Stitch it on a teacher's tote, a classroom door banner, a back to school tshirt. Pop it onto a pillow or a cushion cover for a corner of the reading nook. Use it on a fabric covered notebook, those turned out realy well when customers sent me photos. Pick a white or light grey background and let those 10 colours do the work. Holler if the file gives you any trouble and I'll sort it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
