Big chunky red LOVE letters hang from a curved black string banner, like a valentine's party garland. Between each letter and at the ends of the string there are small red hearts on short threads, dangling down. Below the big letters theres a smaller cursive love in flowing black script, which adds a second text layer that softens the whole composition. The ends of the banner string curl up into little scrolled flourishes. Its a square-ish design that fits comfortably in most standard hoop sizes.
2 colours, 400 density which is on the lighter side, so the run time is shorter than most valentines pieces at this size. 5 sizes from 2.12 inches wide up to 4.53 inches wide, and 3.51 to 7.51 inches tall. Stitch count is 5,662 at the smallest and 13,621 at the largest. Cant complain about that run time for the larger size, its fast. The LOVE letters are done with a satin column outline and solid fill, and the little dangling hearts are small satin fills that stitch cleanly without blurring.
I made this one because people kept asking for something with more of a party-or-decor feel rather than just a plain heart. Its not trying to be serious, its that fun bunting look. My sister had this stitched onto a set of red linen coasters last january as a valentines gift set and honestly they came out really cute. Pop this on a tote, a small pouch, a childs shirt or a fabric pennant. It works well on denim too, the contrast is nice.
Float a tearaway sheet on most wovens, it doesnt need anything heavy at 400 density. Avoid very loose knits or the small hanging hearts can sink into the fabric. White, cream and light grey are my preferred backgrounds. Try the 4 inch version centred on a tote bag and youre done. Keep the thread tensions standard and skip any speed slowdown, this digitisation is smooth throughout.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Valentine's Day tote bags and canvas bagsOn a canvas tote, the 4 inch version sits centred on the front panel with clean margins.
- Small zip pouches and coin pursesOn a small 5 inch zip pouch, the 3 inch version takes up the right amount of space without crowding.
- Kids Valentine's Day party shirtsOn a childs party shirt, the 3.5 inch version is compact enough for a small chest but still reads clearly.
- Linen coasters and small home decor itemsOn a round linen coaster, the 2.5 inch version fits neatly inside the stitchable area.
- Denim jackets and patchesOn a denim jacket pocket flap or chest area, the 3 inch version has good contrast.
- Fabric pennants and wall buntingStitch the 4 inch version on small pennant shapes cut from cotton canvas to create party bunting.
- Gift wrap bags and drawstring pouchesOn a drawstring gift pouch in cream linen, the 3.5 inch version finishes it as a reusable gift bag.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
