Built the wreath-frame love birds after a craft-fair vendor reached out wanting something nature-inspired rather than the usual plain heart outline. The design builds the heart shape out of thick red satin vines and leafy stems, so theres no solid fill area at all. Its basically a wreath that happens to form a heart, which I think makes it alot more interesting to look at up close.
Two small birds sit perched at the very top, facing each other. Black thread handles all the fine detail work: the birds, the tiny butterflies dotted through the vines, and a little secondary heart nestled at the bottom centre. The contrast between the black directional stitching on the birds and the dense red satin on the vines is what really makes this one pop when its hooped up on fabric.
The vine sequencing is clean so the thread path doesnt jump around the heart at random. At density 531 the red areas have that full coverage you want without the design feeling stiff on lighter fabrics. A customer ordered the 4.5-inch hoop on a white linen tea towel and it came out really well, the red sits nice and flat without any bobbin showing through.
Back with woven cutaway on linen for the best result. On woven cotton you can usually get away with a good tearaway, just make sure its properly hooped with no slack or the vines will shift slightly during stitching. Pick a bright white or cream fabric and let the two colours do the work.
Stitch it on a tote, a pillow cover, a canvas zip pouch. Add it to the front of a plain red apron for a kitchen gift. Pair with a matching font initial if you want a monogram feel. Run it on a light grey fleece throw and the red really pops. Holler if you have any trouble with the file and Ill sort it out for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
