Sketched the love birds in the heart-tree after a wedding-shop run last year looking for something romantic that wasnt just a plain heart. The tree branch idea came up and honestly it just worked straight away. Each little red heart sits where a blossom or leaf would normally be, so the whole thing reads like a cherry tree in bloom but fully romantic. And the two birds sitting together near the thick part of the branch are the detail that makes people stop scrolling.

The branch itself is heavy black satin stitch with a directional angle that gives it real depth. The Wilcom build took the sequencing of all those individual heart elements so each one anchors properly without the red sections pulling or puckering. At the 5.47-inch width you get 21,943 stitches, which sounds like alot but its spread across a large area so density stays comfortable. The smallest size at 3.54 inches runs 14,447 stitches and hoops easily on a standard 4x4 frame. Three colours total: red, black, and a small white section on the birds.

Best on medium-weight cotton or a canvas tote. Use a cutaway stabiliser on anything stretchy since the branch runs horizontally and needs that anchor. Skip the tearaway on knit fabric, it wont hold the registration on those bird details. A customer asked me last week if the 4-inch hoop version would work on a denim jacket pocket and yes it does, just add a topping layer on the denim texture so the heart fills sit clean.

People use this one on Valentine tote bags, throw pillow covers, baby nursery hoops, aprons, canvas pouches, and framed hoop art. Its one of those designs that works year-round honestly, doesnt read as overtly seasonal once you step back from it.

Holler if anything looks off after you stitch it out and Ill sort it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine tote bags and canvas shoppersThe 5-in version fills a tote front panel with room to spare and the red hearts pop on natural canvas
  • Throw pillow covers for a romantic bedroom lookStitch onto a 16x16 inch cotton cover for a Valentine bedroom accent that works all year
  • Baby nursery wall hoop artThe smaller petite 3.5 fits perfectly inside a 5-inch hoop for a nursery wall display
  • Denim jacket back or chest pocket panelUse a 4-inch hoop on the chest area of a denim jacket; cutaway stabiliser keeps the branch flat
  • Kitchen aprons and oven mittsCentre it on a canvas apron bib at the 5-in run for a gift that actually gets used
  • Canvas zip pouches and clutchesThe small 3.5 build fits neatly on a zip pouch front without crowding the zipper edge
  • Framed embroidery hoop gift setsStitch on white cotton and frame in a 5-inch wood hoop for a ready-made gift

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
