Two cats sitting together and their tails curl around each other to form a heart at the bottom, thats the whole idea and it just works. The cats are facing slightly toward each other, they've got those simple rounded cute faces with tiny ears and whisker dots, not overly cartoonish but definitely more charming than realistic. Six colours in total, theres a warm orange cat and a cream coloured companion, plus the pink inner ears and tail detail.

Stitch count runs up to about 35,000 at the largest 7 inch size, density sits at 671 which is dense enough to hold up on jersey but not so packed that it gets board stiff. The cat bodies use tatami fill with directional stitching across the fur areas so you get that subtle coat texture. Whiskers and facial details are fine satin column work, send me message if the whisker lines look off after stitching, thats an easy fix.

I sell this one all year but it really picks up around valentines day, I also get a consistent stream of cat birthday gift orders. One customer last month ordered it for a galentines shirt for her friend group of four, all of them have cats, she said it was the most on-brand gift she could think of for her friends. Honestly I believe it.

Use cutaway stabiliser for all fabric types given the stitch density. Works great on cotton jersey sweatshirts, medium weight canvas, fleece. Skip very sheer or thin fabrics for the larger sizes. Stitch on grey, cream, navy or white depending on which cat colour you want to pop more. The orange cat reads really well against slate grey or charcoal fabric.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
