Girl figure mid-blow, hand raised to her mouth, heads tilted slightly, and a little trail of hearts floating up and out. The whole thing is one colour, single-thread fill, which is what makes it so versatile. Five sizes from 3.51 inches wide to 7.51 inches, stitch count from 5,243 up to 9,816 on the largest. Clean satin stitch on the figure, open-outline tiny hearts scattered above her. Wilcom handled the digitising so the fill density sits even and theres no jump stitch mess between the hearts.

One colour means you swap thread once and the whole design runs. I been putting this in the valentines day category but honestly it works year-round for romance-themed pieces, its not seasonally locked the way a christmas design is. The hearts are small enough that on the 3.5-inch size they read as delicate dots from a distance. Up close theyre proper little heart outlines with that open-centre look that gives em depth.

People have been buying this one for valentines day tees, it sells every january, the single-colour version is dead easy to customise by just swapping the thread, any red you have in your kit works. One of my regular customers does it in dusty lavender on grey sweatshirts and it looks completely different, kinda dreamy instead of valentines-red.

Pop a small size on a card-style fabric square and frame it. Use it on a canvas tote at 5 inches, its a good size for the front panel. Hoop on medium cutaway under denim or twill, tearaway is fine on woven cotton. Avoid sheer fabric because the single-layer fill will shadow through. Denim and canvas give the silhouette the most contrast and that suits this design better than anything pale or sheer.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • valentines day tee chest graphics for adults and kidsStitch on a white or cream jersey tee at 5 to 6 inches for a valentines day shirt that sells at markets every january without fail
  • Pink or red themed tote bags for gift shopsEmbroider on a pink canvas tote at full 7.5-inch size for a gift-wrap alternative that the recipient keeps long after valentines
  • Sweetheart anniversary gifts on linen pouchesWorks on a small linen drawstring pouch filled with chocolates or bath salts as an anniversary or gift exchange piece
  • School and craft club valentines projectsSimple enough for a school embroidery club project since its single colour and the stitch count is low enough for a domestic machine to run quick
  • Framed fabric patches as romantic wall artStitch on a 6-inch hoop with cream linen and leave the raw edges as a no-frame wall art piece for a bedroom or craft room
  • Baby onesie chest embroidery in dusty pinkThe small sizes work on baby onesie chests in dusty pink or coral thread and look completely different to the valentines red version
  • Cosmetic bag and zip pouch front panelsPut the 3.5-inch size on a small zip pouch front panel for a cosmetics bag or pencil case gift
  • Seasonal holiday market apparel and merchSwap thread colour for seasonal market batches, red for valentines, coral for spring, lavender for any time

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
