Its a gnome on cream cotton, single-colour outline, looking adorable. Big round hat thats nearly half the height of the whole figure, little boots poking out at the bottom, body that looks like a stuffed dumpling. And hes holding up a heart balloon with one stubby arm like he means business. The heart sits up top, big and round, and the string curves down to his hand in this cute wobbly line. Honestly one of the most charming valentines designs Ive put together.
Single colour, so theres no colour-change fuss at all. One colour. Stitch it through and youre finished. That density sits low, around 4600 stitches on the smallest size and under 10k on the biggest, so its fast on any machine. Five sizes from 3.5 inches wide up to 7.5. The outline line weight is consistent right around the hat brim, the balloon edge and the boot shape, so nothings fighting for attention.
I get alot of orders for this one in January. Mums buying it for valentines day shirts for their kids, crafters putting it on little pouches, people making gifts for teachers. Last valentines day a customer sent me photos of it on a red linen tote and it looked genuinely suprised at how good it came out. She used navy thread on cream canvas and the whole gnome popped right off the fabric.
Use a tear-away stabiliser on quilting cotton or a light canvas. And theres a small heart corner detail where the balloon meets the string, so hoop nice and tight. Satin stitches on the hat and boots need clean underlay or they dont sit flat. Pop a 4-inch version on a gift tag or card holder and youve got a quick little keepsake project too. Holler at the shop if the hat outline comes out wobbly and Ill point you at the right thread.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
