Chunky red satin block letters spelling love, with a lil scattering of small black heart outlines floating around the lettering like ya threw confetti up in the air. The hearts come in mixed sizes, some plump, some slim, some tilted on their side, none of em filled, all just clean outline work. Red bold for the word, black thread thin for the floating shapes.

Two colours, red runs first for the love lettering at 8,314 stitches, then black for the small hearts at 1,798 stitches. Total stitch count goes 10,114 at the smallest 4.03 inch up to 17,528 at the largest 7.03 inch wide, density at 363 means medium so its lighter than alot of valentine designs which makes this one a fast stitch out.

I get messages bunch from customers in early february stocking up for valentines markets. One mum in glasgow ordered nine pieces last winter for a school fundraiser set of zip pouches in red on cream canvas. The bobbin colour shows through the heart outlines so pick a thread to match your fabric or use a clear poly bobbin if youre stitching on busy ground.

Best on cotton canvas, linen, brushed twill, cotton tee. Skip dark fabric, the red lettering loses contrast on burgundy or navy. Pop a tearaway under woven fabric, switch to cutaway and mesh wash topping if youre running this on jersey or fleece. Use a 75/11 sharp needle for the satin shoulders of the lettering. Drop the 4 inch on a tote front, run the 7 inch across a cushion centre, the smallest 4.03 inch fits sweet on a zip pouch front for valentines gift markets.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
