Sat down and worked up this one specifically for people who want something that reads as a quote first and a unicorn design second. The unicorn is kinda hidden in plain sight: just the top of the face peeking above the lettering, ya get the rounded ears, a few lash lines, and an aqua twisted horn pointing up. Its a really charming detail without overloading the composition.
Three colours handle everything: aqua for the horn and 6 sparkle stars scattered through the layout, red for the bold Love block lettering and the small connecting 'is' in cursive, and black for the big sweeping Magical script at the bottom. The script on Magical really really carries the whole design, its got those long tail strokes that come with proper hand-lettered digitising.
Wilcom set up the file, and the underlay keeps the red satin on Love sitting flat even when the letters stitch onto a tighter weave. At density 403 and 3 colour changes, its a clean file to run without alot of thread swaps mid-hoop. Last february a customer messaged me after stitching the 5-in run on a cream sweatshirt saying it was the best valentines design theyd found that worked on adult clothing without looking childish.
On knit fabrics use a cutaway stabiliser with topping on the red sections, the block fill on the Love letters benefits from something that keeps the loops from sinking into the weave. On woven cotton a good medium tearaway works fine. Skip topping on the script areas, the open satin strokes in the cursive dont need it.
Stitch onto a canvas tote for a valentines market bag. Use it on a youth t-shirt where the unicorn detail will land at chest height. Best on white, cream or soft grey fabric where all 3 colours show clean contrast. Pair with a simple heart motif on the sleeve for a matching set. Send me a message if you need help picking the right hoop size for your machine.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
