The gnome is short and round and honestly kinda irresistible. Big pointy hat with red and white horizontal stripes running across it and a cluster of white stars on the navy blue band near the brim. Long beard flowing down, no face visible except for the tiny nose poking out just below the rim. Gnome is holding a red heart right at the front, arms barely visible, the heart doing most of the visual work at centre.
Seven colours in total and theres about 6 colour changes to get through on your machine. Red stripes on the hat, white for the stars and beard, navy on the band. A warm peach or cream skin tone for the visible nose area. Then the red heart sits separate at the end. Each section is filled with dense tatami so the whole piece feels substantial, not flat. At the 8-inch size youre looking at 61159 stitches which is a real workout so use a good cutaway stabiliser, not tearaway. Gonna need it.
Im always suprised how well this digitising holds up on fleece. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio really nailed the underlay on the beard section especially, those long satin columns dont tunnel even on loosely woven twill. Hoop your backing firm and let the underlay settle before the top passes run through. I get messages about this one every july season. Someone sent me a photo last 4th of july of this gnome on a navy cotton apron and it looked brilliant honestly.
Use the smaller 4-inch version on a onesie chest or a tote pocket. Send me message if the file gives any trouble at all, Ill sort it out quickly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
