Love rainbow with 5 layered arcs -- warm sand satin outer, then a blush pink band lined with small red hearts along its edge, then a silver-grey arc scattered with black dots, then a plain pale pink inner band, and right at the base a single small pink embroidered heart where the arcs close at the bottom. 6 thread colors total, and the machine stops for each one so its worth threading up and doing a color check before you hoop anything.

Stitch it on a hooped white cotton for the clearest result -- on white all 6 colors come through and the red hearts on the pink band really pop. Lay light tearaway behind wovens or a cutaway on anything with stretch. Hoop tight so the satin arcs stay smooth. I got an order last February for a Valentine's baby shower -- three 4-inch versions on cream muslin pillow fronts -- and those little hearts on the blush band looked genuinely lovely against the cream background. Its a bit more Valentine than straight nursery, but I've had people use it year-round for girls' room decor and it works fine in both contexts.

People drop it onto Valentine's Day gifts for new babies and toddlers, nursery hoop art with a love or hearts theme, baby blankets and receiving blanket corner embellishments, handmade Valentine cards with a small fabric panel, girls bedroom throw pillow covers, and personalised onesies and baby vests.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine's Day gifts for new babies and toddlersThe heart detailing makes it feel seasonal for February without being too obvious about it
  • Nursery hoop art with a love or hearts themeSits well in a round hoop, the arch fills the space without needing to be stretched
  • Baby blankets and receiving blanket corner embellishmentsA blanket corner version of this at the 2-inch size is quick and still looks deliberate
  • Handmade Valentine cards with a small fabric panelCut a small piece of embroidered fabric and mount it inside a card for a handmade touch
  • Girls' bedroom throw pillow coversThe soft pink and sand palette works well on a plain cushion cover without overpowering it
  • Personalised onesies and baby vestsBaby vests and onesies take the smaller sizes well on stretchy knit with the right stabiliser

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
